Position: Principal Associate - Patent

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Principal Associate - Patent to lead and oversee patent drafting and prosecution work within our Intellectual Property team. This role involves supervising junior associates, managing client relationships, and ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of patent services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the preparation and prosecution of patent applications across various jurisdictions.

• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and patent professionals.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing strategic IP advice.

• Review and ensure the quality of patent drafts, office action responses, and related work.

• Support business development and contribute to practice growth.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, or life sciences.

• Patent Agent preferred

• 08-10 years of experience in patent law, including drafting and prosecution.

• Proven leadership, client management, and team supervision skills.
